Brighten Up an Old Table!

It is remarkable how easily you can update a piece of furniture with a can of paint. It is equally impressive how little paint it takes on most pieces in your home (or at least mine!).

Take this table for example. I’m a lucky girl as my dad is very handy with wood and makes furniture pieces. He made this little table 10+ years ago. Probably 15 years ago actually. It’s the perfect size for the hallway leading to our kitchen from the foyer but I felt it was outdated.

In comes Behr paint and primer in Swim. Amazing and so nice and thick for great coverage. I did two coats in less than two hours. Then went back the next week and applied a little antique glazing. Love it!
